uggh!

I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I have been sold out to this whole eating healthy and working out routine for over 2 weeks now, and it seems to keep back firing! I just don't get it!... It seems like no matter what i do, i keep gaining weight. I cut out pop, sugary juice, fast food, switched to FF milk, i eat yogurt for breakfast, and have healthy soup for lunch, cut out snacking, work out 3 times a week, and I'm still gaining weight! This is so unbelievably frustrating... i don't know what to do any more...

Keeping up all your hard work is the only answer, and you're doing great! Over time you'll start to see a dramatic difference. Don't let the plateau's along the way discourage you at all. It's a lifestyle change after all, so it won't happen overnight (or even in the next few months)... but you'll get there. Give it sometime and your body will catch up with your diet and exercise, as it takes some persistence and conditioning to start up fat burning and the like, it's just still stuck in the same mode you've been in for years is all.

Hang in there man! I agree with everything Randy says. Patience is the key. I know it's hard to hear, comprehend, and do. I'm sure you think it's easy for me to say that, but trust me when I say, I know exactly where you are. Even though I've been running for while, it's still not always easy walking out that door to go for a run. And I still try to watch what I eat everyday. You'll be challenged, you'll fall off the horse, you'll get back on, and you'll charge on. It will come. Have confidence in yourself, because we have confidence in you!

Hey Eric...

I am going to Dr. Sparks in Sandusky, and lost 22 lbs from november 7th to Christmas...I have not been very good on the diet since then- I gained 4 lbs over the holidays but I have since lost those plus another pound...he has alot of programs to choose from. it is a bit pricey at first but if you are having a hard go of it alone I would highly recommend him!

Hope this helps
Danielle

It may be hard now, but just give it time and in a couple months you'll be able to look back and see all that you've accomplished! It's all about consistency!
